Paying homage to my early college days—back when I first dipped my toes into smithing. Skulls were a bit of a hyper-fixation of mine then. I used this imagery over and over, drawn to what it represented. To me, it’s always been a quiet symbol of the desert’s unforgiving beauty—how wild and harsh, yet full of life.
I like revisiting this design every few years, a little love letter to that desert gal who started this journey long ago.
